Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?More teamwork and more analytical tasks with focus on self-study. More complicated and advanced course projects compared to MUNI. Overall good experience. It does not matter if you're a local student or the one on Erasmus.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Orientation week, good mentors, trips.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories

Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:22000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Everything went more or less as expected. You just have to be ready for the Dutch high prices on everything.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Cook by yourself. If you plan to use public transport or trains, buy a subscription. If you plan to visit more than 5 museums or galleries, buy a museum card

How does public transport work in the city?I've seen better

And what about transport outside the city?runs like clockwork

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Inside the city you need a bicycle! The city is not big but the public transport won't help you much. But you still can have a transport card which might save you money. To go to a different city, there are NS trains, you can buy a subscription if you travel a lot. It's expensive in general but very convenient. Trains run every 10-30 minutes every direction during the day.

What is a must-see in the city?River enbankment, Kingsday in spring, island on the river.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Amsterdam, Utrecht, the Hague, Zaandam (sea beach), Rotterdam, Kinderdijk, Texel.

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?If you want to rent a flat, it might be hard. Watch out scammers! When getting there, create a revolut account and get a Maestro card. Visa and Mastercard don't work in most non-touristic places and supermarkets!
