What was your approach in organising the placement?:
I found this internship through the aiesec organization and after applying I had to go through their selection process.

CV, cover letter, video presentation and interview.

How far ahead did acceptance have to be organised? (in weeks):
It depends on the current offer and its deadline, it is very individual.

Yes, I had.

What is necessary to arrange immediately on arrival? What requirements and at which offices?:
None.

Describe your work/activity in the foreign organisation. Describe what specifically you did, whether the work corresponded to the agreed conditions and your field of study, and whether your work was independent and responsible, approximate working hours.:
I worked in the marketing department and my day job evolved from that. The work included various marketing activities, in particular: google ads, bm, content creation, data analysis and so on. The work fully corresponded to the agreed plan. I worked about 35 hours a week.

Where did you live?:
I had my own room in teh shared apartment with other people.

130 EUR

The aiesec organization helped me secure accommodation.

Equipment, internet connection, what to bring:
Everything needed was already there.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Compared to prices in the Czech Republic, they are higher. The prices also depend on the exchange rate, which is not so stable.

Transport to location of placement:
Flight and bus ride.

Approximate price:
400 euro.

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Buy it as soon as possible.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
Bus 5,75 BRL
Tram 6,75 BRL

How did you use health insurance? What type?:
I used insurance from ČSOB, It was the best deal for me.

Did you have other insurance? Which?:
No.

Experience with insured events:
Luckily I didn't have any.

Tips for recreation:
There are many bars, restaurants and parks. When you leave the city, you can go to the beach in the area of Santos, or to the largest city in South America, Sao Paulo.

I personally use the Wise and Revolut cards abroad, they have better rates and higher functionality.
