🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?neutral

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Teaching is very interactive compared to MUNI. There are few courses per semester (I had 3), but it goes into depth. There is also a lot of emphasis on self-study.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, there was a Welcome Week at the beginning of the semester, and then there were regular events at school (quizzes, workshops, etc.).

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories
Special examination conditions (e.g., extended time, quiet rooms)

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:8000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Shopping in supermarkets (Kiwi, Rema1000) and cooking for yourself, food in restaurants is very expensive. Don't buy outdoor clothing in the Czech Republic, but only in Norway - there are SportOutlets, where clothing and accessories (backpacks, bags, etc.) are better quality and cheaper compared to Czech shops. The TooGoodToGo app - businesses put non-perishable food items here at reduced prices.

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?runs like clockwork

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Around Lake Sjusjøen, Jotunheimen National Park, Trolltunga, Gaustatoppen, Austerdalsbreen, Gereinger, Ålesund, Bergen, Oslo.

Share your best experience:One of the best experiences was when we went on a roadtrip with a bunch of friends towards the west of Norway. Along the way we stopped at places like Hardanger Bridge, Vøringfossen waterfalls, climbed Trolltunga and our destination was Bergen. We had known each other for less than a month, but it was an experience I will never forget.

What not to forget when packing?Certainly not smelts, but you can buy them cheaply in Norway. Otherwise hiking boots, vitamin D (it gets dark early), raincoat.
