🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Are your credits converted?yes

Can you give an example? All of my credits converted even though I do not study political science. It is very flexible and you can choose between the French and English programmes. French ones are more complicated and you won't meet so many erazmus people. The English course is only erazmus students.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?The randomness in everything and mostly poor organisation, but after all, it does not matter.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?I think it does, but I never really took them, since I hate with group trips.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:15000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?The prices of beer are hurtful

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Use the school restaurants and find dorms; otherwise, the apartments were expensive, around 400-500 euros per room.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?perfectly

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?runs like clockwork

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket? The school consultant will show you where to buy a monthly ticket for the metro and buses.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Local art museum and little bars, I loved the trips to the sea out of Rennes itself

Share your best experience:My best experience was randomly taking a train around the coastline with my friends and spending the weekend in my friend's beach house. And I also visited Rennes during the biggest demonstration. Definitely go to local market on Saturday.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Bus

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?I took the bus, but it took 30 hours. It was super fun, but maybe you should take a plane to Paris and then a bus or train to Rennes.

Can you pay by card?neutral

What not to forget when packing?Basic knowledge of the French language. Locals do not speak English, and even if they can, they will not.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences?Living and studying in France for 5 months without really paying for it is the best thing you can do while studying. You would be dumb not to use it. Enjoy your stay.
