Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Teaching was done in smaller groups - this made it more contact-based, students were more involved.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Offered, they have a great functioning ESN that organizes many different events throughout the semester. At the beginning of the semester there is a registration, during which the student has the opportunity to attend several lectures about how things work in Vilnius and at the university.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:8000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?No, nothing.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Lidl is the cheapest of the supermarkets. And the dorms are cheap and quite nice (at least the one I lived on), no need to avoid them.

How well did you manage to communicate in English?neutral

How does public transport work in the city?neutral

And what about transport outside the city?neutral

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Google maps work best for finding connections. For buying tickets, there are the "Trafi" apps for public transport, "Leo Express" for long-distance bus services and "LTG Link" for trains - but these go very few and far between.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

What are the must-visit trip destinations? To Klaipeda, more precisely to the Kursk Spit and ideally to the south to the border with Kaliningrad.

Share your best experience:Walk along the first part of the 100 km route around Vilnius - there are beautiful views.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?I don't remember anything.

What not to forget when packing? It is similar to our country in many ways, so nothing special is needed.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences?Lithuania is a beautiful country, not so different from our country. If you speak English, there is nothing to worry about - the university is great and the classmates are friendly.
