🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?The program is completely in English, but most of the lecturers have very poor English. If they can't explain something in English, they start in Portuguese. It's more of a high school, but maybe it varies faculty to faculty.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? Not the university directly, but Erasmus offered a lot of inclusive events, which was great.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:12500 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?Definitely Facebook and a lot of free time, but in the end I had perhaps the best accommodation for the price.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Public transport and gym costs quite a lot compared to the Czech Republic. Otherwise it is very friendly.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?I can't think of anything specific. The most you can save on accommodation and cooking for yourself.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?almost without problems

How does public transport work in the city?terrible

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?google "works" and it's easy to get used to especially in the port, but if you want to go anywhere further and by anything else, good luck. Shipping is outsourced and the sites are often non-existent, outdated, only in Portuguese, or any combination.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?yes

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?definitely the beaches, the center, the famous bridge and the sunset.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Azores, Madeira, Geres, Vigo

Share your best experience:The Azores and Geres National Park were some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I really recommend it. The surfing was nice too, but it wasn't that good.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane

Can you pay by card?in most places

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences?Porto was amazing and it is one of the experiences I will never forget. The school sucked and it gave me nothing.
