Can you give an example?I had a course that MUNI recognized as one of my A type courses.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?There were different teaching styles and sometimes more on hand approach, but it mostly depended on teacher's requirements.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes. There was an orientation week. There is an ESN organization they have a lot of activities.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling

Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:23000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?No.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Cooking yourself. Second hand clothing sores. Asking locals for tips that was the best one.

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?They have internet sites. Mobile application I used that one all the time. And you can ask in their main office. Buying city public ticket was easy I got directed by the University to the right place.

What is a must-see in the city?Library. City centre. And than it depends on what you like, but you can find anything at least in the proximity.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Nearby sea, dam, Bauskas pils, Rundāle pils

How did you get to the place?Plane

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?Just buying tickets early for cheap prices. There is a bus from Airport to the city centre that goes regularly. If you are staying at dormitories and are arriving in the evening have some sort of acceptance with address some of the ladies do not speak English but are lovely and understanding.

Can you pay by card?in most places

What not to forget when packing?Have some essentials in you backpack. It is possible for your main luggage to get lost. But you can buy ALL the thing you need in Maxima.
