🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?they have tons

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?As in other English-speaking countries, teaching in Ireland is much more personal - in seminars it is common to address teachers by their first name, to engage in dialogue with them, etc. Since local students have to pay a hefty tuition fee, they are generally more engaged in discussion than at MUNI.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?UCC is full of student societies (whether social or sporting), and Erasmus students can join any of them without restrictions. There are no events specifically for Erasmus students, but I think the above mentioned clubs are enough for a quick integration.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Support for LGBTQ+ students (e.g., safe spaces, counseling services)
I haven’t noticed

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?A surprising expense is especially the price of the accommodation itself, which is around 1000 EUR/month

Do you have any tips on how to save money? At the beginning of each semester, the international office holds an "auction" of items left behind by previous international students - an ideal way to get blankets, an adaptor for an outlet, etc.
