Before your departure did you know how your courses would be recognised by your home faculty?:
Yes, I asked before my departure.

During your stay did you change your Learning Agreement?:
Yes, I needed to change my Learning Agreement because of changes in timetable.

When and how did course registration take place? Are there any restrictions? Possibilities of making changes?:
The first week of school you can prepare your timetable and do some possible changes.

Did you take any examinations at the foreign school?:
No, I had only one little exam during school period but I had many different homework during the school period.

Does the school use the ECTS system?:

If not then explain how the credits there were recalculated into ECTS:
I consulted the recalculation before my departure with the responsable person of the exchange of students from my faculty.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
The teaching methods consist in work with texts, many little homeworks like essays, presentations, elaborate cuestionnaire, practice in primary school etc.
From part of teachers we work with presentations, discussions etc.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
I think that in the host university emphasize to practice, discussion, working with information in comparison with home university that prefere more theory and less practise.

How did you receive study materials?:
By internet system of the university.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
I had a really good experience with all teachers. I appreciate a subject "Enseňanza de lenguas a niňos" and I can also recommend the teacher of this subject Alexandra Millan de la Cerda.

How well is the school library equipped?:
The school library in comparison with our home school is so bad equipped but the reason is that in Mexico there are many people which don´t read.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
In the campus there is one class with enought computers but I also recommend have your own notebook because itś more simple.

Options from printing and copying:
In the campus there is service of printing and copying and also near to campus there is one shop with this services.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:
yes

Welcome event with presentation.

How would you assess your integration with the local students (evaluation like in school from 1 to 5 with 1 as highest):

Good equipment. You don´t need any special think.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Approximately 40 minutes from campus.

What are the catering options?:
In the campus there are several cefés and bufets and near the campus are also various little restaurants or fast food.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
The prices are almost the same.

Transport to location of placement:
By bus.

Rough prices for transportation:
One way to school and back cost approx. 25 crowns.

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Cheap meal you can buy in supermarket or in little "fastfoods" in the street.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
Buses are most often, cycling is more dangerous or on foot if itś near.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
You need to fill a document that replace a visa in the plane.

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
I had a health insurance with coverage also to my luggage.

Did you have any experience with medical treatment abroad?:
No.

Did you work during your studies?:
No.

What are the conditions for working for MU students?:
I don´t have any experience with this.

Tips for free-time activities:
You can go to the baech, visit United States, visit vineyard or ZOO near the city. In the city there are bowling, cinema, big trampolines or they offer short trips in a boat.

Yes, like B subject: Lengua, Cultura y Civilización and Enseňanza de lenguas a niňos.

Some subject be recognized like C because the main theme is from magister degree.

Notebook, board games, books, money, tipical thinks/ records from your country.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a positive way:
Every student has your own teacher which can help you with your academic problems. Every teacher was interested for me and my needs. Very important is practise and individual attitude to every student.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a negative way:
In my opinion there miss more focus on the theory.
