in person during my first day in Uruguay and yes, making changes was possible

For me it was VERY difficult to find that out and I am still not 100% sure i think that 1ECTS credit is 0.6 Uruguayan

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
I had my own workshop to work at and painting, drawing and video mapping classes. all based on dialogues and conversations.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
it is extremely different I would not dare comparing apples with pears.

How did you receive study materials?:
yes

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
volumen en espacio. the workshop is incredibly well equipped

How well is the school library equipped?:
it was under reconstruction

no notebook needed.

everything is available there

none by the university

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
about the same some things might be a little more expensive.

Transport to location of placement:
i walked but you can get a bus card

Rough prices for transportation:
without the card it was about 25czk or 1 dollar per one hour

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
the university staff can help you with anything. i honestly do not know how to obtain the bus card

cycling, on foot, bus

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
none. as a czech citizen you can stay legally for 90 days then you have to leave the country and come back and the 90 days reset. (Argentina is very close by boat)

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
from my bank CSOB. I dont know many informations about my insurance I never used it

Did you have any experience with medical treatment abroad?:
no

Did you work during your studies?:
online job from the czech republic. But not many hours. I also illustrated a book

What are the conditions for working for MU students?:
as far as I know you are not allowed to work.

Tips for free-time activities:
there are a lot of beaches in Montevideo as well as fairly priced bus tickets to other cities. A lot of music a lot of bars or galleries

i am still in the process right now. Uruguayan university does not normally give this many credits so you have to take extra classes
