Predbežný zoznam je k dispozícii na internete, aktuálny poskytne miestny koordinátor.

Which documents were needed for acceptance at the foreign university?:
Ako Freemover som oslovil univerzitu priamo prostredníctvom emailu. Po niekoľkých emailoch som mal pohovor s prorektorom ADA University. Následne mi bol zaslaný pozývací list.

semester pred pobytom

Vízum sa vybavovalo elektronicky (https://evisa.gov.az/) . Stačil pas, fotka, pozývací list a adresa ubytovania.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Je kladený veľký dôraz na dochádzku a aktivitu v hodinách. Veľa aktivít v priebehu hodín, ktoré sú však kratšie než na MUNI. Termín skúšok je určený univerzitou a študenti majú 1 pokus.

približne rovnaká

How did you receive study materials?:
poskytla ho univerzita, resp. z knižnice.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Mal som individuálny plán.

How well is the school library equipped?:
kvalitná

V knižnici sú PC.

Options from printing and copying:
Na univerzite, ale aj bežne na uliciach.

Aktivity rôznych spolkov.

Jedná sa o prestížnu, malú a vysoko internacionalizovanú školu, čomu zodpovedá aj ochota študentov nadväzovať kontakty.

na kolejích (Univerium)

Additional comments to the price of accommodation (as to what the price includes):
Univerzitou odporúčané koleje (Univerium) sú nové, dobre vybavené a určené hlavne pre zahraničných študentov. Výhodou je aj pešia dostupnosť na univerzitu. Študenti majú k dispozícii možnosť využiť posilňovňu či jedáleň (1 celé jedlo za zvýhodnenú cenu 3€). Nevýhodou je, že študenti bývajú na izbách po 4. Za podobnú cenu je možné nájsť aj súkromné bývanie, minimálne zo začiatku je však vhodné využiť koleje a to najmä z dôvodu polohy (v Baku sú zápchy, metro býva preplnené), ako aj administratívy (proces predlžovania víz je jednoduchší s pobytom na kolejích)

Všetko nevyhnutné sa dá kúpiť.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Informácie poskytne koordinátor zahraničnej univerzity.

What are the catering options?:
Na kolejích (Univerium) je možné sa stravovať 3x denne za zvýhodnenú cenu 3€ za celé jedlo (ovocie, šalát, polievka, hlavné jedlo). Porcie sú veľké, výber však dosť jednotvárny. Výborné možnosti sú priamo na kampuse - veľký výber, dobrá kvalita. Celé jedlo cca 5€. Možnosti stravovania sú však aj na ulici a to za ceny nižšie než v ČR. (jedlo v bežnej reštaurácii cca 8€, kebab 3€).

Mierne lacnejšie

Transport to location of placement:
Priame lety Azerbaijan airlines z Prahy/Viedne (majú často akcie). Je aj možnosť letieť s WizzAir z Budapešti.

Rough prices for transportation:
Jednosmerná letenka s batožinou cca 200€.

Sledovanie promo akcií Azerbaijan airlines. Do krajiny sa dá aktuálne dostať len letecky!

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
V Baku sú časté zápchy, výhodou je pešia dostupnosť. Metro je spoľahlivé, ale často preplnené.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Hneď po prílete je nutné na colnici deklarovať telefón. Pri používaní miestnej sim karty na dobu dlhšiu než 30 dní je totiž nutné mať telefón registrovaný, inak sim karta prestane fungovať. Na zahraničné sim karty to neplatí, miestne číslo sa však oplatí kvôli internetu. Registrácia telefónu sa dá vybaviť naraz pri kúpe sim karty, je však nutné im to pripomenúť a mať telefón už deklarovaný na colnici.
Okrem toho bude pre potreby predĺženia víz (elektronické vízum platí len 30 dní) potrebná fotografia (na červenom pozadí), absolvovanie testov na HIV, potvrdenie z ubytovania atď. O všetkom univerzita vopred informuje, je vhodné to však riešiť hneď po príchode a využiť ponuku miestnych "buddies" a to najmä z dôvodu limitovanej znalosti angličtiny/ruštiny u niektorých miestnych obyvateľov.

České cestovné poistenie pokrývajúce dlhodobé výjazdy. (https://www.isic.cz/pojisteni/cestovni-pojisteni/).

Len v rámci krvných testov pre potreby predĺženia víz.

Tips for free-time activities:
V Baku a okolí je možnosť navštíviť pamiatky. Z Baku je tiež dobrá letecká dostupnosť do Nachičevanu, či do Gruzínska. Do blízkeho okolia sa dá cestovať aj taxíkom (Bolt), do druhého najväčšieho mesta Ganja je vhodné využiť vlak (2x denne).

Dosť záleží od spôsobu trávenia voľného času. Ceny potravín sú trochu nižšie než v ČR. Cestovanie je limitované z dôvodu uzavretia pozemných hraníc, letecká doprava je trochu drahšia.

Nič špeciálne. V Baku je dobrá dostupnosť všetkého.

Kvalitné vybavenie a ochota.

Limitované znalosti niektorých študentov.

Celkovo to bola zaujímavá skúsenosť. Univerzita je veľmi kvalitná, moderná a často organizuje aj neverejné akcie s diplomatickým presahom.
