Na stránkách univerzity je seznam všech nabízených kurzů, před registrací kurzů ale univerzita zašle email se seznamem.

Výpis známek, potvrzení o úrovni angličtiny B2, pojištění.

How far ahead did you have to organise your acceptance?:
Já vše začala řešit v prosinci- cca 8 měsíců dopředu

Fotku, kopii pasu, výpis z účtu, žádost o víza (musí se posílat poštou do Hong Kongu), potvrzení o přijetí na univerzitu

Registrace kurzů proběhla online v půlce července, změnu v zápisu předmětů bylo možné udělat ještě v prvních 2 týdnech školy.

Did you take any examinations at the foreign school?:
Psala jsem jeden test, zbytek předmětů jsem ukončovala formou skupinové nebo individuální práce (prezentace, projekty, eseje...).

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Jedna vyučovací hodina vždy trvala skoro 3h. Většinou výuka probíhala tak, že učitel prezentoval učivo a poté jsme o něm diskutovali.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
V porovnání s pedagogickou fakultou byla kvalita výuky nižší a také byla snazší.

Přes moodley

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Keramika

How well is the school library equipped?:
Velmi dobrá, je otevřena i přes noc.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Po celém kampusu je wifi, počítače jsou volně dostupné např. v knihovně. Doporučuji ale mít vlastní notebook.

Options from printing and copying:
Ve škole je možnost tisku i kopírování, nejdříve bezplatně, poté za poplatek.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:
yes

If yes then what?:
Před začátkem semestru je orientation day, kdy nás rozdělili do skupinek a provedli po kampusu, měli jsme společný oběd a poté nám sdělili důležité informace. Také organizovali různé výlety, cultural showcase (kde každý mohl představit svoji zemi), vánoční párty...

How would you assess your integration with the local students (evaluation like in school from 1 to 5 with 1 as highest):

Místní studenti se moc nechtěli bavit s výměnnými studenty, ale našli se i tací, se kterými jsem se hodně sblížila. Mnohem lepší to bylo s ostatními výměnnými studenty nebo s buddies.

V pokoji je jen postel, skříň, židle, poličky, stůl, nástěnka a společný koš.

Já musela dokupovat například povlečení, ramínka, špendlíky na nástěnku, nádobí apod.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
cca měsíc dopředu

What are the catering options?:
Možnost vlastního stravování- na každém patře na kolejích je kuchyňka s vroucí vodou, indukční deskou, mikrovlnkou a lednicí. V kampusu jsou 2 restaurace, jinak je možnost sjet do blízkého města.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Vše je o hodně dražší, pečivo cca 60Kč, sýry cca 150Kč, mini jogurty cca 50Kč.

Transport to location of placement:
Letecky s AIR FRANCE, měly jsme jeden přestup v Paříži

Rough prices for transportation:
Necelých 20000Kč za zpáteční letenku

Žádný nemám

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
Přímo ke škole jezdí minibus, který vás zaveze do Tai Pa, odtud je možnost využít metro či autobus a dostanete se téměř všude. Kromě autobusů, minibusů a metra je také možnost využívat místní taxíky, kterých je všude plno, jsou ale mnohem dražší.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Musí se zaplatit ubytování, ukázat víza a credit card direct debit authorization form, zařídit octopus karta

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
Union, cena byla 4115Kč

Ne

Ne

What are the conditions for working for MU students?:
Na studijní vízum nelze pracovat.

Tips for free-time activities:
Různé výlety po Hong Kongu- Big Buddha, Tsz San Monastery, Victoria Harbour, Disneyland, Ocean Park, botanická zahrada, přehrada poblíž Tai Pa, Macao, Discovery Bay. Také doporučuji navštívit i ostatní země- já byla v Thajsku a Malajsii.

Doporučuji si vzít polštář, deku, základní nádobí, deštník, opalovací krém...Ale vše potřebné lze koupit i na místě. Na pokoji je jen postel, skříň, stůl, židle, poličky a nástěnka.

Obrovský a čistý kampus, vše potřebné bylo v blízkosti.
