Z vlastnej inicitívy som našiel, že inštitúcia ponúka stáže. Zaslal som potrebné dokumenty a vybrali ma. Následne stačilo doladiť detaily.

Pre kratšie pobyty nič, dlhšie môžu vyžadovať registráciu pobytu, odporúčam naštudovať si o CAF pre Francúzsko

Práca zodpovedala dohodnutým podmienkám, mojou náplňou práce bolo chodiť na rôzne stretnutia, písať reporty pre domáce ministerstvá, apod., podstatná časť práce samostatná, pracovná doba občas dlhšia

Did the organisation or local student organisations arrange any special events for foreign students on placements?:

v Štrasburgu je aktívna ESN, okrem toho Rada Európy alebo iné štátne misie občas organizujú akcie pre všetkých stážistov

Študentská rezidencia v priľahlom meste (Les Alternants, Campus d'Illkirch)

dobré ubytovanie ale ďaleko, malé štúdio s vlastnou kúpeľnou a kuchynkou, určite hľadať v dostatočnom predstihu, 2 mesiace je málo, minimálne 3 dopredu

Sám som si zaistil ubytovanie 2 mesiace dopredu

úplne vybavené, internet v cene, netreba si nič nosiť

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Podstatne vyššie, výhodou Štrasburgu je poloha blízko nemeckých hraníc, tam sa dá ísť nakúpiť lacnejšie

Transport to location of placement:
Strašná, na hlavné mesto Európy letecké spojenie takmer neexistujúce (jedine cez švajčiarsky Bazilej), vlaky z našej časti sveta tiež nie, najlepšie cestovať autobusom (Štrasburg-Bratislava cesta 13 hodín, z Prahy o niečo lepšie)

Veľmi dobrá MHD, električky chodia často, autobusy trochu horšie ale existujú, veľa cyklotrás, všade bicykle, aj pešo sa dá ísť, nie veľké mesto

možnosť účastniť sa na exkluzívnych podujatiach, nové kontakty z celej Európy, získanie znalostí a skúseností

Any serious problems during the placement?:
odporúčam neveriť autobusovému spojeniu Wien Erdberg - Štrasburg, ktorý vyráža niekedy okolo polnoci, nechali ma v zime a daždi s kuframi vo Viedni, ževraj tam nemajú vôbec zastávku aj keď by mali
