Can you describe the role you held during your internship?I worked as a social media intern.

What specific responsibilities and tasks did you do during your internship?During my internship, I was involved in creating content for the school's social networks, preparing posts and stories, taking photos and videos of student events, managing the online community and helping to promote the school's activities.

Did your tasks align with the pre-defined conditions?yes

Did the internship meet your expectations?no

If not, how did it differ?During my internship, I realized that working in social media was not as fulfilling for me as I originally thought. Nevertheless, I see this experience as valuable because it helped me to better understand what I enjoy professionally and what I would like to do in the future

Did you apply any theory you learned at university during the internship?no

How well did you manage to communicate in a foreign language?perfectly

Do you have tips on how to make a great impression on the institution?I would recommend being active, showing interest in what is going on in the company and not being afraid to come up with your own ideas. The institution is impressed when an intern tries to bring something new, is reliable and learns quickly. A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved in activities outside the direct scope of the internship are also important.

How competitive was the selection process? Did you have to go through an application procedure?I had an interview, after which I received a positive response.

Why would you recommend students do an internship?I recommend an internship abroad because it brings not only professional experience, but also the opportunity to get to know another culture, improve your language and gain more independence and self-confidence. It is an experience that will enrich both personal and professional life.

💰And how to fund it?
What were your average monthly expenses during the internship?25000 CZK/month

Did the institution provide accommodation?no

If not, how did you find it?On the Facebook market.

Did you have any unexpected expenses during the internship?no

Do you have any tips on how to save money during the internship?I recommend taking advantage of student discounts, cooking at home instead of eating out often, and sharing accommodation with others.

How does public transport work in the city?terrible

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?I consider the historic capital Valletta, the ancient Mdiny nicknamed 'Silent City' and the fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its famous colourful boats to be must-sees in Malta.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?I definitely recommend going to the islands of Gozo and Comino. Gozo is quieter, greener and offers beautiful beaches and historical sites, while Comino is known for its beautiful Blue Lagoon, one of Malta's biggest attractions.

Share your best experience:My best experience was when my friends from my previous Erasmus in Norway came to visit me in Malta. Together we went to the island of Gozo, where we rented quad bikes and travelled around the island for a whole day.
