na zahraniční univerzitě probíhá registrace kurzů před začátkem semestru. Změny lze však provádět ještě dlouho po začátku semestru.

výuka je obdobná jako na naší univerzitě. Zkoušky mi však připadaly o něco málo náročnější.

byly nám doporučeny učebnice, které si máme pořídit

nadstandartní

vlastní notebook je bezpochyby potřeba. Škola však poskytuje nějaké možnosti zapůjčení notebooků.

ubytování je v Basileji opravdu drahé a velice často se připlácí za mnoho dalších věcí (např. praní).

nic specifického není potřeba

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Já ho zařizovala zhruba měsíc před. Jelikož je však ve Švýcarsku poměrně složitá administrativa, doporučuji začít o něco dříve.

školní menzy nabízejí dostupné stravování

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
zhruba 2,5x dražší

Transport to location of placement:
možnost letecké, autobusové i vlakové dopravy

Rough prices for transportation:
letecká doprava - cca 2000Kč za jeden let
autobusová - cca 1000 Kč za jednu cestu

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
nakupovat s předstihem (dá se tak sehnat letenka i za 800 Kč)

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
měsíční jízdenka stojí cca 50 euro - lze se ale bezproblémově dopravovat na kole

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
povolení k pobytu, nechat se vyjmout ze zdravotního pojištění, bankovní účet, halbtax

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
není nutné pořizovat jiné pojištění - je však nutné si požádat o vyjmutí ze švýcarského pojištění
