Can you give an example?When i got 5 ECTS in a course for International special education MUNI just took it and converted it to 5 credits

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Some lessons started 10 mins after their official beginning. Students were nocking on tables at the end of every lesson to show respect. Teachers didn’t know the number of credits of their subjects. The dates of the beginning of the semester weren’t as strict as in Czechia and the semester started a week later than it should have.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Many of them. Theres KHG (catholic college group) that made a lot of different activities for free. WIN (Würzburg international network) also made like 10 of then each month (parties, tastings, hikes, language exchanges, karaokes).

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Radiobeitrag, money for semester.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Aldi and Lidl are the least expensive stores, it would be good to also go vegetarian because meat is expensive. Kebab shops are the cheapest option for food. Don’t go to pubs for drinks. Buy Deutschlandticket for traveling (500 Kč a month for the entirety of Germany everywhere). Try budgeting.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?WVV for public transport. Deustche bahn for transport between cities. The best iption is deustchlandticket and then you dont have to buy any tickets anywhere. The schools offers free transport for its studnets in the university city

What is a must-see in the city?Mainbrücke (wine bridge), Rezidenz, Marienberg (castle), Tscharlies (pub eith speciak shit Kutchers), the vineyards, umsonst und drazßen festival, kiliani festival.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Theres is so much of them: Rozhenburg ob der Tauber, Münich, Bayeruth, Ochsenfurt, Marktbreit, Nürnberg, Bamberg, Heidelberg, Aschaffenburg, Frankfurt, Mainz, Neuschweinstein, Füssen, Tübingen, festival in Erlangen, Sommerhausen, Miltenberg, Augsburg, Eibsee, Lindau, Meersburg..

Share your best experience:Honestly the best experience is the overall connection with people. You learn why european union is important and how everyone of you view the world. You learn about new cultures, languages, food, philosofies. I believe the friends I made across borders made my mind wide open and therefore I believe that every activity with them and traveling with them was my best experience.

How did you get to the place?Bus

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?Take euros in cash. Also the languages courses have a different register date than other courses. It is also important to register at the city hall. There could be also scammers selling apartments - dorms are safer.

Can you pay by card?in most places

What not to forget when packing?Each dorm tell you specifics. On of the things they don’t offer is a wifi router even with the cable. Also bring a pillow and covers. I don’t think there was a specific thing i needed, you can find almost everything in the Buy and sell group by WIN.
