I wasn't sure about all of them.

After my returning back to Czech republic.

Yes.

It was all discussed in advance with the responsible person from my department.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Teaching methods were very adequate, teaching materials were all up to date and very useful. Several courses required students to accomplish few projects and present them in Chinese. Writing essays on a weekly basis was part of one of the courses.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
I cannot quite compare Czech teachers and Chinese ones. In MU we often have Taiwanese teachers come and have their teaching practice in Brno and I must say that Chinese teachers' experience and teaching efficiency is much higher that Taiwanese ones. The only reason is that Taiwanese teachers that come to Brno have no experience, and Chinese ones have up to 15 years of teaching foreign students behind them.

How did you receive study materials?:
I had to buy books.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
HSK preparation course was quite useful for me, it helped me to prepare and pass HSK 5 exam.

How well is the school library equipped?:
Very well, lots of materials were online.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
I used my own computer, so did the majority of my classmates.

Options from printing and copying:
Very easy, lots of copycenters around campus.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:
yes

Meetings, cultural events, sports events.

Dormitory rooms have all the necessities. Nothing extra is needed or you can by it on spot.

By mail 1-2 moths in advance.

What are the catering options?:
Lots of them in campus, university canteens and also cheap local bistros.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Cheaper.

Transport to location of placement:
Plane.

Rough prices for transportation:
15 000 CZK.

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Purchase ticket in advance. 4-5 moths.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
On fot in campus, Bus/metro/taxi around the city, prices are quite low.

Visa.

Not sure. University arranged it fro me.
