Online via application of host university. During first two weeks you can change your subjects - you need to sign in 3 to 6 subjects.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
We often prepared some presentations, had to write some seminar works and position papers. At the end and in mid-term there were final exams.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Lower than at home school.

How did you receive study materials?:
In dropbox.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
I can recommend to study Bahasa Indonesia, it is really easy and useful.

How well is the school library equipped?:
Almost no books in english.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
There are many computers in the school areal and there is wifi everywhere.

Options from printing and copying:
Printing and copying shot is in the university campus.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:
yes

If yes then what?:
Surfing lessons, visiting temples, traditional market, learnig traditional dances and many others.

How would you assess your integration with the local students (evaluation like in school from 1 to 5 with 1 as highest):

The classes are just for foreigners. Most of the local students cannot speak english well.

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Nothing specific. Girls should bring Tampons because it is not possible to buy it in Indonesia.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
1 month in advance, it is also easy to do it after arrival

What are the catering options?:
Warungs and restaurants are everywhere and really cheap. You can use Gojak and order food anywhere and it is also really cheap.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Milk products are 3 times more expensive. Vegetable is the is price, furit is cheaper.

Transport to location of placement:
You have to rent a motorbike. Otherwise you cannot get to school. Or always order "taxi" gojak, but it takes too much time and at the end it is also way much more expensive.

Rough prices for transportation:
700 Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) per month for a motorbike

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Rent a villa with other students it is the best and cheapest way.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
Only option is to rent a motorbike (700 IDR per month), you can take taxi - gojak or bluebird, price is cca 25 IDR for location around 5km, depends on time and location where you order it.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Visa and vaccinations.

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
You should arrange insurance in Czech Republic. I paid for it 7000. And it worth it. There are often motorbikes accidents, also the weather and air-conditiong often causes tonsilities. The hospitals are quite expensive so it is better to have insurance. I use Axa travle insurance.

Did you have any experience with medical treatment abroad?:
Yes many times. The level is quite good (not for serious injuries) but it is expensive.

What are the conditions for working for MU students?:
Not allow to work, because you do not have working visa.

Tips for free-time activities:
Surfing, traveling around Indonesia. Cinemas are really cheap.
