Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?More practical teaching, they don't have lectures at all, but have 2 seminars on the subject per week, cooperation with real companies and communication with them during the normal semester, not just in final papers.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, the city has two associations, it is not ESN, but it has one for-profit and one non-profit, which sponsors events, trips, cultural experiences, creative workshops, etc., are supported by both faculties in Pamplona, at the same time our university offered, for example, nature hikes.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city? The mountains around, the historic centre, the river in the suburbs, the Arena de torros - where the annual San Fermín - the running of the bulls through the streets - takes place. ESTAFETA - but after a while you find yourself there every week, sometimes three times.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?San Sebastian, Bilbao, Biarritz, Valencia, Barcelona, Pyrenees.

Share your best experience:The friendliness of the people in Pamplona and their slightly different mentality than the rest of Spain, so it was more of a culture shock for me that people don't behave like they do in the south of Spain. And one of the best experiences for me was just a trip to the Pyrenees and a wonderful walk up into the mountains - Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Well, another of the experiences for me was the total co-habitation with 8 girls from all over the world, which collectively didn't stop surprising us until the end of our stay, after all 6 nationalities under one roof, gave us a hard time, but in the best way.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane
Train

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?Trains from Barcelona to Pamplona, transport from Pamplona station, enough time to deal with the documents - it's still Spain, so it's good to give them more time.

Can you pay by card?everywhere

What not to forget when packing?A travel pillow, if you go swimming, a swimming cap - it's not like ours, bed linen, some provisions, a fruit peeler, your own glass, a plastic cup, if you live with 8 people, your own cutlery is useful. A diary, pencil and two notebooks, it's nice to have some paper handy until you get your bearings. Tissues, I didn't have toilet paper in my private bathroom when I arrived and it can take a while to buy it that day - remember to check the shops - everywhere was closed on Sunday.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences? It is not a short-term experience, but a long-term experience and believe me, it will change your perspective on many things and especially on yourself!
