I was able to enroll in 3-5 courses. If you're doing bachelor study program, you cannot enroll in master course.

practical examples, dialogues between students and a teacher, a lot of homework (essays, case studies)

bigger quality than at home uni

How well is the school library equipped?:
School library in Burwood campus is awesome. It is open 24/7 and it provides everything you need

Laptop recommended, internet access needed

City centre - Southbank

Nothing special - search for furnished accommodation

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
I paid for two weeks of AirBnb in Melbourne and during those two weeks I managed to find a suitable accommodation.

What are the catering options?:
cooking yourself is much cheaper than dining in restaurants

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Big sales of food (1/2 price, 40% off), without sales it is 2 or 2,5 times more expensive

Transport to location of placement:
tram - slow but quite reliable
train - fast, not everywhere
bus - unreliable, don't use if not neccessary

Rough prices for transportation:
With student concession (50% off) - one-way ticket (2 hours) = 2,4 AUD

Maximum amount spent per day = two one-way tickets (2 hours each) = 4,8 AUD per day

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
If you're using public transport often, go for MykiPass (monthly or more ticket)

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
City centre (CBD) - best on foot
Cycling is always an option but be careful - the city is not always bike-friendly

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
All the documents (VISA, insurance, learning agreement) as stated above

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
BUPA insurance (offered automatically to everybody) - 300 AUD per one trimester
