Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Most undergraduate courses have only lectures and no seminars. The final exam is several hours long and in the form of a long essay where you have to write about a broad topic.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, and a lot! From get-togethers, to game nights and cultural events, to sports trips and volunteer activities.

What is a must-see in the city?Definitely celebrate May 17, it's Norway's biggest holiday and it's breathtaking to watch the huge parade through the city and Norwegian flags everywhere.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Bergen, Ålesund, Geirenger, the Hardangerfjord area and actually anywhere in the mountains.
