Where did you live?:
In a private flat.

Cost of accommodation - monthly:
280 EUR

Additional comments to the price of accommodation (as to what the price includes):
Depending on the area and quallity of accommodation. There are many options, however for low price you live either very far or in a very ugly room or in a dangerous zone of the city.

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Nothing special needed. However, many flats aren't so well equipped. Recommended to bring a vacuum flask, portable cup or a fork to eat on the street (usual form of eating), because of the inexisting ecology measures (tons of one-use plastic).

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Depends, the best option is to look for it after arrival.

Everywhere on the streets is food.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):

Cycling in Ciudad de México recomended just in several zones. Sometimes dangerous to walk. At night nearly no transport
