Bola som zaregistrovaná do kurzov, ktoré som mala uvedené v Learning argeement. Všetky zmeny prebehli osobne na zahraničnom oddelení zahraničnej fakulty. Neboli žiadne obmedzenia.

Teoretické a praktické hodiny, a spôsob hodnotenia boli podobné ako na MUNI.

srovnatelné

How did you receive study materials?:
Prostredníctvom informačného systému. Učitelia vedeli dobre pracovať so školským systémom, všetky materiály nám tam nahrávali.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Exercise and Sport for People with Disabilities (01017138)

How well is the school library equipped?:
Neviem, nenavštevovala som knihovnu.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Prístup na internet všade na univerzite. Potreba vlastního notebooku (aj na písanie písomných skúšok priamo v škole).

Neviem.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:

Bežne áno, počas pandémie COVID-19 však boli možnosti obmedzené.

Rozprávala som sa primárne so zahraničnými študentmi. S miestnymi študentmi to bolo len o výmene nutných informácií.

Practical questions on your placement
Where did you live?:
Ubytovňa River House - využívaná primárne študentmi, ale nebolo to školské zariadenie.

Cost of accommodation - monthly:
150 EUR

Additional comments to the price of accommodation (as to what the price includes):
300€ / izba - bývali sme na nej dvaja. Kúpeľňa, WC, kuchynka a študovňa boli spoločné pre ubytovňu.

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Základné vybavenie - posteľ, stôl, stolička, skriňa, polička. Na izbe bola chladnička. Taniere a príbor mal dostupné každý ubytovaný. Kuchynka bola vybavená (aj s hrncami, panvicami, nožmi...). Málo zástrčiek - zíde sa predlžovačka.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Ja som riešila 1,5 mesiaca dopredu.

What are the catering options?:
Každá fakulta má svoju školskú jedáleň (obedy + večere). Výber z cca 5 jedál.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Menu stálo 2,40 € (polievka + hlavné jedlo + pečivo + ovocie/dezert + pohár pitia).

Transport to location of placement:
Bývala som blízko a chodila som pešo. Inak sa dá využívať MHD.

Rough prices for transportation:
2€ / samostatný lístok na MHD. Kúpa lístka na mesiac vyjde lacnejšie.

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
My sme kupovali letenku cez Ryanair, lebo je po Európe najlacnejší.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
MDH, pešo

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Registrácia na úrade v Coimbre - Citizen shop (Loja da Cidadão) (inak by mi európske poistenie platilo len 3 mesiace od príchodu do Portugalska).

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
Nemala som žiadne špeciálne poistenie, len európsku kartičku poistenca (normálne som poistená na slovensku).

Did you have any experience with medical treatment abroad?:
Nie.

Nebyť pandémie COVID-19 a opatrení, tak minimálne výdaje na cestovanie by boli vyššie.

Did you encounter any serious problems during your stay:
Študijný odbor, ktorý som si vybrala bol koncipovaný blokovou výučbou cez víkendy - čo som dopredu nevedela. Kvôli tomu som si po príchode menila predmety. Na začiatku štúdia som bola málo informovaná - nevedela som, prečo sa mi v systéme nezobrazuje rozvrh, že niektoré predmety mi budú začínať až o 2 týždne neskôr,... Problémom bol tiež jazyk - viaceré predmety boli vyučované v portugalčine (ja neviem portugalsky) a všetko záviselo na mojej dohode s vyučujúcim - niektorí boli prístupný dohodám a učeniu / materiálom v angličtine, iní nemali ochotu prispôsobiť výuku zahraničnému študentovi.

What would you recommend to take with you:
Základné veci - oblečenie, osobné veci, notebook.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a positive way:
Atmosféra, prístup väčšiny učiteľov, ktorí sa zaujímali a boli ochotný pomôcť. Jedáleň sa mi tiež páčila :-)

What most surprised you at the partner university in a negative way:
Asi tá jazyková bariéra - počet predmetov vyučovaných v angličtine bol minimálny.
