Před začátkem semestru online, možno měnit dva týdny po začátku semestru

Neznám přesný klíč, kredity přepočítala koordinátorka zahraničních pobytů na katedře.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Podobně jako na MUNI - přednášky + semináře, hodně skupinové práce. Zkoušky bývají často take home - napsaní eseje na dané téma, spíše se zaměřují na pochopení tématu než na teorii a definice. Hodnocení mírnější než na MUNI.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Výuka je zaměřená hlavně na praxi a ne tolik na teorii (v oboru Government), která ale občas chybí.

How did you receive study materials?:
Od vyučujících na Moodle, případně výpisky od starších spolužáků.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Theories in the Study of Terrorism and Guerilla se Steviem Weinbergem a Research Methods s Carmelou Lutmar.

How well is the school library equipped?:
V knihovně spíše méně výtisků, výpůjční doba max. 2 dny, ale většina knih přístupná online v systému.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Počítače v knihovně a ve volně dostupných počítačových knihovnách - notebook nebyl nutný, ale hodí se. IDC má možnost vzdáleného přístupu do systému.

Na kampusu za menší poplatek.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:

Přímo škola ne, ale studentský spolek IDC Connect - seznamovací akce pro zahraniční studenty, organizované výlety, párty, atd.

Pokoj ve sdíleném bytě v Herzliyi.

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Individuální. Pokud jdete na koleje, tak ty nejsou vybavené vůbec a je dobré s tím počítat.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Klidně na místě. Pokud dopředu, tak zkuste Facebookové skupiny s pronájmy v Herzliyi/Tel Avivu

What are the catering options?:
Cafeteria, kavárna a obchody na kampusu + restaurace v blízkosti školy.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Cca 4x vyšší než v ČR

Transport to location of placement:
Pěšky

Rough prices for transportation:
MHD po Herzliyi jedna jízda 5.90 shekelů, do Tel Avivu 9.30 shekelů. Možnost vyřídit studentskou kartu na semestr (cca 650 shekelů)

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Studentský tarif na Rav Kav, oblast Tel Aviv extended.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
MHD, možnost půjčit kolo/elektrickou koloběžku v podstatě všude.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:

U ČSOB pojišťovny, není třeba vyřizovat jiné. Případně i IDC nabízí možnost pojištění.

Na studentské vízum nelze pracovat.

Semestr v Izraeli končí později a na známky se dlouho čeká, problém není s uznáním ale s postupem do dalšího semestru a věcmi s tím souvisejícími (potvrzení o studiu, ISIC)
