predbežná registrácia prebieha ešte pred odjazdom, prihlasovanie sa koná na základe placement testu, následne je možné kurzy ešte meniť

zamerané na samostatnú prácu, domáce úlohy, projekty, písanie prác atď.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
ťažko povedať, niektoré predmety boli na vyššej úrovni, niektoré rovnako ako na MUNI

How did you receive study materials?:
učitelia nám ich dávali, buď online alebo priamo vytisknuté

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
jednoznačne Japanese Linguistics (vyučuje Ikezawa) alebo Comparative Religions (vyučuje Rodriguez)

How well is the school library equipped?:
výborná, veľmi veľká, prístupná, veľa publikácií v rôznych jazykoch

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
výborná, v knižnici sú počítače, tiskárna, avšak skenovanie je trocha problém (ale dá sa v konbini)
vlastný nootebook som takmer nepoužívala, záleží či si píšete poznámky ručne

Options from printing and copying:
na tisk má každý študent kredit 400 bodov (=400 BW strán) zdarma, možnosť navýšenia.
skenovať a kopírovať sa dá len na IT centre, alebo v konbini

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:
yes

If yes then what?:
rôzne diskusné, konverzačné aktivity, skúšanie tradičných japnských vecí a pod.

plus treba počítať s poplatkami za úklid, prenájom futonu a perín a pod.

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Izba je dobre vybavená, kuchyňka tiež. Všetky potrebné veci sa dajú za lacno dokúpiť.
Kto je náročnejší na spánok, odporúčam vlastnú podušku :)

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
čo najskôr to pôjde, pretože miesta v lacných intrákoch, ktoré sú zároveň aj blízko školy sa rýchlo míňajú.
myslím, že aspoň mesiac-dva dopredu treba zaplatiť.

What are the catering options?:
dve školské jedálne na spôsob menzy

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
približne rovnaké, avšak menšie porcie :(
napr. zelenina mi prišla drahšia, ale na mesiac treba počítať s min. 200 eurami

Transport to location of placement:
z letiska ide bus alebo metrom, zastávka je tak 500 metrov od I-Housu

Rough prices for transportation:
denný lístok na metro stál cca 5 eur

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
ak idete na semester, kúpte si spiatočnú :) a neodporúčam letieť cez Šanghaj

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
dá sa kúpiť kolo, mhd je tiež kvalitná.
treba dať pozor však na parkovanie bicyklov - sú platené, ak si to nevšimnete, môžu vám ho zabaviť pod pokutou cca 20 eur

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
treba ísť na úrad (ide sa tam hromadne s doprovodom) kde sa vybavuje pobyt, adresa, poistenie

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
treba japonské národné poistenie, plus nejaké školské a aj cestovné

Did you have any experience with medical treatment abroad?:
našťastie nie, iba so zubárom - ortodoncia
bol veľmi prívetivý, vzal ma hneď ako som prišla, ale musela som si to platiť zo svojho

nie

What are the conditions for working for MU students?:
dobrá úroveň japončiny a angličtiny

Tips for free-time activities:
cestovanie, po okolí, ale aj celkovo po Japonsku.
športovanie, škola ponúka veľa možností
zabávať sa - karaoke, jesť veľa dobrého jedla
