Same as MUNI, lectures and seminars (usually compulsory) and also online lectures, many assignments during the trimester (in form of reports)

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Deakin University was more focused on practice rather than the theory

How did you receive study materials?:
Online

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
I liked Event Management and Marketing Fundamentals, Personal Insight was also interesting and easy to pass

How well is the school library equipped?:
Well equipped and open 24/7

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
WiFi all over the campus, computers available in classrooms, usage of my laptop was quite essential for me

Printing is available in library for fee

Day event such as “get to know Melbourne “ and day in Luna Park or bunch of parties

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
I arranged it a month before coming to Australia, for people who wants to live on campus, which has many positives even though it is very expensive, I recommend arranging it asap

What are the catering options?:
No school canteen, but many cafes on campus providing food

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
approximately 3 times more expensive

Transport to location of placement:
Trans, busses, trains. Very easy to use, do not go as often as in Brno and often late

Rough prices for transportation:
4 months transportation pass costed me approximately 4000czk (50%student discount included)

Get the student discount ASAP
