At EdUHK, Each course is worth 3 credits (unless otherwise specified);
Each course is equivalent to 39 contact hours;
One credit normally equates to one hour of teaching per week, with over 13 teaching weeks in a semester.

Full-time Study Load per semester
Minimum: 12 credit units (approx. 4 courses)
Maximum: 15 credit units (approx. 5 courses)
A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 20 credits at Education University of Hong Kong. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.
Further academic details: Graduate students can take undergraduate courses and vice-versa.
We do accept Master’s students for participation in our undergraduate student exchange program. However, please note that all courses available to inbound exchange students are at the undergraduate level.
