The proof of English Proficiency should be within 2 years. Other English proficiency exams are not accepted.

GPA = Grade Point Average, a number from 0.0 to 4.0 (0.0 = fail, 4.0 = excellent)

ECTS usage: No. Undergraduate: During each Fall/Spring semester:

Minimum 12 undergraduate credits
Maximum 15 undergraduate credits
If more than 15 credits, student pay the tuition, fees, and other costs associated with the extra credits.

This could be 4-5 courses in total with 3 credits for each course.

Among the 12-15 credits, at least 9 credits must be In-Person instruction (001 sections) and/or Hybrid-In Person instruction (860 sections).
Graduate:
During each Fall/Spring semester:
Minimum 9 credits
Maximum 15 credits
Among the 9-15 credits, at least 6 credits must be graduate-level credits. The undergraduate-level courses on a graduate-level student’s official UNO transcript, will show “Grading Basis: Out of Career”, the letter grade, the number of credits, and the attempted hours. But will not show the earned hours, qualify hours, quality point, and GPA.

If more than 15 credits, student pay the tuition, fees, and other costs associated with the extra credits.

This could be 3-5 courses in total with 3 credits for each course.

Among the 9-15 credits, at least 6 credits must be In-Person instruction (001 sections) and/or Hybrid-In Person instruction (860 sections).

A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 10 credits at University of Nebraska at Omaha. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.

Recommended fields of study: Students are allowed to take courses that are inside or outside of their major at home university, inside one field of study or college, or across multiple fields of study or colleges.

Forbidden fields of study: Undergraduate courses in Architecture, Aviation, and Interior Design are not open to the inbound exchange students to UNO. Undergraduate courses in Education are limited. Some courses in some graduate programs may be “Not open to non-degree graduate students”, which means that they are not open to the inbound exchange students. Financial conditions: During each Fall/Spring semester:
Tuition - waived up to the maximum of credits for the student at UNO
Fees - student pay the following fees on MavLINK between 1st day and 23rd day of 2nd month of school
International Student Fee $120
Student Access & Success Fee $125
Distance Education Fee $210 if student select any online/remote courses. To avoid this fee, please select in-person courses only.
Lab Fee $30-$300 if student select any lab courses
Late Registration Fee $25 if student enroll in courses late
Other small fees $100-$300
But, the Enrollment Deposit Fee $100 is waived for the student at UNO
Housing - student pay at the time of housing application or defer the payment to MavLINK bill due on the 23rd day of 2nd month of school
Application Fee $60, refundable due to unforeseen/uncontrollable reasons
Housing Deposit $200, refundable due to unforeseen/uncontrollable reasons, or after check out with good room condition
