A credit is the unit of value or score for a course, in this case at the bachelor's level, and is calculated as follows:
1) Activities that do not require additional study or work from the student; one hour of class per week/semester corresponds to one credit.
2) Activities that require additional study or work from the student; one hour of class per week/semester corresponds to two credits.
3) The credit value of clinical and practical learning activities is calculated globally according to their importance in the curriculum and at the discretion of the respective technical councils.

A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 20 credits at The National Autonomous University of Mexico. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.
