Academic minimum required: A minimum of 6 credits are required to valid the academic semester.
ECTS usage: No. 1 credit is given for every 15 classroom hours (or more) per semester. However, for a lab or practical training (physical education) course, 1 credit is given for every 30 hours (or more) per semester.
A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 20 credits at Kyungpook National University. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.

2. Korean National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) is mandatory for all international students, and its monthly amount is about US$60.
