In general, students may earn 2 credits for a lecture-style course (100mins. ×14classes) and 1 credit for a Japanese language course (100mins ×14classes) offered by Center for Japanese Language (CJL).
The minimum number of credits that exchange students must complete varies depending on undergraduate/graduate schools. Please note that exchange students are strongly encouraged to take approx. 6 courses (≒ 10 hours) per week to obtain a student visa status.
A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 20 credits at Waseda University. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.
