1 semester is 4 months in duration, 1 academic year consists of 2 semesters, adding up to 8 months in total. Fall semester will start in September and will end in December, while the winter semester will star tin January and end in April
Supported academic levels: Bachelor, Master
Academic minimum required: Brock grades out of 100, 100% is the maximum score a student can get, and any score above 50% is considered a pass. But for exchange purposes, students are typically required to have a 70% average, which is roughly 2.7 in a typical GPA scale. ECTS usage: No. 30 ECTS = 2.5 Brock Credits
6 ECTS = 0.5 Brock Credit
A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 1.6 credits at Brock University. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.
Further academic details: Graduate students can take undergraduate courses and vice-versa.
Graduate students can take undergraduate courses, but undergraduate students cannot take graduate courses. It is also difficult to get graduate students into undergraduate courses, so it is not guaranteed.

Students are allowed to take most courses as long as they have the right academic background/pre-requisites.
Forbidden fields of study: Our postgraduate Teacher Education courses (EDUC 8P**), GAME and internship/placement courses are not open to visiting students; only Education classes at the Undergrad level are open but they are quite restricted. Most Child and Youth Studies and Accounting courses are also not open to visiting students.
Some computer science courses are restricted.
