Language requirements: No English level is required to attend the courses taught in English. Although an
intermediate level (B1) or upper proficiency is recommendable.

Academic minimum required: Minimal required GPA: 3
GPA = Grade Point Average, a number from 0.0 to 4.0 (0.0 = fail, 4.0 = excellent)
ECTS usage: No. 20 ECTS correspond approximately to 13.33 PUC-Rio credits, which we can round up to 14 PUC-Rio credits for simplicity.
A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 13 credits at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.
Further academic details: Graduate students can take undergraduate courses and vice-versa.
Recommended fields of study: All exchange students are required to take the Portuguese course during regular academic
term even if they apply to classes taught in English.
Forbidden fields of study: Medicine is not available
