Our academic periods are structured as follows:
January - June:
Tentatively between the second and third week of January, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Medical Surgery and the Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry begin their academic activities.
The rest of the educational programs begin between the third and fourth week of January, with an approximate end date for academic activities between the fourth week of May and the second week of June.
July - December:
In the month of July, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Medical Surgery and the Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry begin their academic activities.
The rest of the educational programs begin in August, with an approximate end date between the third week of November and the second week of December.
Language requirements: B2 if Sopanish level for students whose native language is not Spanish.
Supported academic levels: Bachelor, Master
Academic minimum required: The grading scale at the UAEH is from 0 to 10, with 7 being the minimum pass mark and 10 the maximum mark.
ECTS usage: No. Academic credits at the UAEH (Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo) depend on the educational program, since the system is used to measure progress and coursework load. Each undergraduate and graduate degree has a total number of credits that students must approve to get their degree, and these credits are distributed across different areas of study (basic, professional, terminal, and complementary).
A minimum course load at MU consists of 20 ECTS credits per semester. This is equivalent to 20 credits at The Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo. The final decision on the recognition of credits at MU in your Learning Agreement is up to the departmental coordinator at MU.
Further academic details: Graduate students can take undergraduate courses and vice-versa.

Financial conditions: The UAEH has a Continuing and Distance Education Department, which offers language courses for a fee. If any students are interested in studying a language, we can provide them information.
