How competitive was the selection process? Did you have to go through an application procedure?The two-round selection process consisted of an assessment of a CV and a cover letter, followed by a specific assignment in English and Spanish.

Why would you recommend students do an internship?Because they will gain new experience, learn to work better independently and use the knowledge from their studies directly in practice. Of course the positive side is getting to know new countries and great people.

Do you have any tips on how to save money during the internship?There is certainly no need to skimp on accommodation for safety. On the contrary, you can save on transport, as I was on foot 90% of the time.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Transportation in Mexico and LATAM in general works very poorly. On the other hand, there are very cheap services like Uber, so they are definitely more worthwhile than public transport.

What is a must-see in the city?Definitely the historic centre, the Roma Norte district, and Frida Kahlo's house.
