🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?yes

Can you give an example? All courses at Iriarte are for 6 credits, one course at MUNI that I had recognized as an A course was for 5 credits, I was enrolled in 5.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Very cool lessons, all teachers were friendly and calm, nobody had stress from those lessons, there was not much at all and it was always possible to agree with the teachers, at least on the subjects I had, I know that in some subjects my friends had problems but it was always possible.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Occasionally there was the possibility to go on excursions within some courses but explicitly some activities for Erasmus students to get to know each other no.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:25000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation? The Facebook pages are all scammy, since Puerto is a small town, looking for accommodation on your own is almost impossible, also because in Tenerife there is a problem with housing in general.... the school gave us the contact details of a guy who had a contract with them and he sent us the available apartments and we chose accordingly.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?I don't, I didn't save, that's probably why I spent so much money too.... all the opportunities I took and it's Spain well, I guess you can understand that life was pretty carefree

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?almost without problems

How does public transport work in the city?mostly fine

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Titsa.... tenerif app for buses, a bit chaotic but with time you will get oriented and you will find that you can really get anywhere by bus, whether on time is questionable.... I also recommend to buy a ten+ card, with which you will save on every trip, definitely do not buy those tickets from the driver, it is quite a bit more expensive than when you load money on this card, it can be done at selected stops and the card can be bought right in the machine in front of the airport.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Everything in that town is on the beach, it's small but it has its own charm, all the beaches are beautiful, people are sitting on the streets, dancing, drinking coffee, so if you just walk around the town you will see everything you need.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Teide, all the miradores on the way to Teide (google everything), Masca, the whole Anaga National Park (playa Benijo and surroundings), los Realejos, Playa amarilla, Elevador de agua de Gordejuela (walk from Puerta) and everything you see on TikTok.... there is just nice everywhere.

Share your best experience:I'd rather not :)

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier

How did you get to the place?Plane
Car

Can you pay by card?in most places

What not to forget when packing?Classic as when you go on holiday.
