Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?The courses offered to us were not updated, we had to address this with the local coordinator and correct our study plan (and Learning agreement).

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, many student events. There are also societies that are dedicated to international students.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:15000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?We found it on Facebook. There are different groups there. BUT BEWARE, there's also FRAUD. We've experienced it first hand and unfortunately we fell for it. Getting someone else's papers sent is not enough, you should want a video call and even then check thoroughly.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?We got tricked while looking for accommodation, we lost about 7 thousand each (the amount of the deposit).

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Shop at discounts. Go to bars and restaurants for happy hour.

How does public transport work in the city?mostly fine

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Public transport app (TBM), plus arrange their subscription (card). The apps are also good for trains and buses outside Bdx. There were also ticket machines on public transport platforms, but sometimes they were out of service.

What is a must-see in the city?Rugby match, carnival, centre

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Paris, Disneyland, Arcachon, Spain (San Sebastian), la Rochelle, Biarritz, Saint-Émilion, Tolouse and Carcassonne Castle, Lyon, Provence (Marseille, Avignon, etc.), Annecy!

Share your best experience:Election of the President at the Embassy in Paris, trip to Annecy, trip to Disneyland, wine tasting, trip to Saint-Émilion. Rugby matches (the hockey wasn't great), their frequent demonstrations. Everything was great, don't hesitate to go too!

What not to forget when packing?It's by the river and close to the ocean, so it's windy. But then again, spring and summer are warm. So think about the weather so you won't be surprised.
