🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?manageable

Are your credits converted?yes

Can you give an example?Courses that have been accepted in lieu of MU courses also count towards MU credits. But the B and C courses stayed with the full value of the foreign university.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?It was disappointing that the pre-selected courses, approved in advance at both schools, were filled to capacity without any reserved space for Erasmus students. What then is the need to select in advance?

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, there were plenty of options. Some more practical, some less interesting and helpful.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:25000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation? There are a lot of Facebook groups. Erasmus in Nice, Logement Nice, but I recommend to consider the choice a lot! Not only me, but others have been through different experiences and it wasn't the right one the first time!

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Classic Lidl store apps. But I don't use that much. The most you can save is probably if you plan your food well so that it doesn't spoil unnecessarily.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?almost without problems

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?neutral

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Google Maps best for sure. Local apps often worked worse. One has to take into account that one is in the south and that buses run more in a time range of e.g. every 4 - 7 min. Or if they have a given time, they will arrive even 15 min earlier or later.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?yes

How do you rate the availability of healthcare?mostly fine

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Sunset from Coline de château.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Èze, a medieval town with a cactus botanical garden and a unique view.

Share your best experience:Erasmus didn't impress me much, so it's hard to say. But the tourist trips to Cannes, Monaco, Antibes or just around the corner from Nice to Cap Jean Ferrat were great.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
How did you get to the place?Plane

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?I must highlight the convenience of Nice airport, from which a tram leads directly to the city centre. And it runs quite frequently. The only thing to watch out for is that the timetable is not changed due to holidays etc.

Can you pay by card?everywhere

What not to forget when packing? If you already have one at home, then the bedding for a large French quilt. And definitely the basic medication you've proven, even if just for a cold. And Czech candies or a few souvenirs for future Erasmus friends are also a good tip for me.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences? Those who have never been abroad alone should definitely take advantage of this opportunity. Those who have already experienced a working summer somewhere abroad, like I did several times before Erasmus, probably can't have such expectations...
