🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?no

Does the university offer enough courses in English?none

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I think overall the professors were more benevolent, both during exams and classes, but also in the field. At MUNI it would never happen that we would go home because of rain :D. But I think there was a more relaxed atmosphere, not that it was tense at our institute, but it was still felt. But both of these points can be related to the fact that they are Spaniards :D

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?I was bypassed by most of the Erasmus events, the university organized some events, but it was not for Erasmus students, in short for students. But the students there are extremely nice and there was no need for events to be inclusive.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:19900 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?Pray :D i got my accommodation the day before my flight. there is a site specifically for spain: idealista, which was recommended to me by a guy who was on erasm before me. I got it there as well and there's quite a lot to choose from, but again it's a Spanish village

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Probably not

Do you have any tips on how to save money? Not really, I didn't do so well :D but if you want to, you can

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?with gestures

How does public transport work in the city?mostly fine

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket? There are TITSA buses all over tenerife, I searched for connections by googling? linnea 015 (for example - that's the line that goes from the capital to Laguna, where the university is), it threw me on orzpis and there it was. and that's how I solved everything. You can buy tickets from the driver with a card or cash, but it's better to download the app: ten móvil (I don't remember it anyway) and there you can get a free meisac card if you already have a NIE (student ID number). But the whole process is very random and sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes you have to do it multiple times before it works, etc. You can do this twice, so two free meisacs, I paid for the rest

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Phew, I loved Las Gaviotas beach, which is behind one of the most famous beaches, Las Teresitas. It has black sand, the waves are big and to get there you have to walk 30 minutes from the bus stop and then back, so it's well deserved. Definitely climb Teide, I've been twice, once for sunrise and once for sunset, an amazing experience. There's this road TF 436 that has insanely nice views, it's good to have a rental car for that, you can take it to the famous Masca, but it wasn't as mesmerizing as everything else around it, then definitely the whole Anaga and hikey in it. Try surfing and snorkeling. The south didn't grab me, it's all overtouristed. And don't forget to download the song Mi paraíso.

What are the must-visit trip destinations? To other islands!!!!

Share your best experience:Climbing up Teide for sunset, that sunset with the clouds below us and sleeping on Las Gaviotas.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?Probably nothing special

Can you pay by card?everywhere

What not to forget when packing?Diving goggles, I used to take those to school and hiking stuff, you'll need them.
