Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I was surprised that the lessons were based more on our work and discussion than on interpretation. It took me a while to get used to it!

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?No.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Albert Heijn often has places with discounted food, and you can definitely save money if you cook for yourself. The Netherlands is not exactly a cheap country when it comes to public transport, so next time I would recommend planning ahead and downloading their app - I think there was a small discount :- ) Something like our student discount there, but not for international ones.

What is a must-see in the city?Downtown Utrecht, the Cathedral, the canals, the nearby castle, the rainbow bike path on campus :- ), Dapp Frietwinkel fries, the beautiful library, the park behind the campus.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?More like smaller towns - Leiden, Gouda - they are beautiful! If you have the chance, go to Texel Island or just anywhere nearby by bike!!

Share your best experience:Texel Island! If you get a chance, go there. It's by ferry and it's really beautiful. Iconic lighthouse and you can see seals too!
