In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?No

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Via TCL branches, and then you can extend online.

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Vieux Lyon (old town), Parc Tête d'Or (a kind of local zoo/park), Festival Lumière (festival of lights).

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Grenoble, Geneva...if someone is tempted to go to Paris, some of my classmates went there (in France it is quite easy to travel thanks to TGV (=high-speed trains).

Share your best experience:Being a part of the school basketball team (Lyon is quite alive with basketball and you can feel it from everyone who is at least a little bit involved in basketball) - for being "just" school basketball, the practices were great and we played games against other schools/faculties.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Car

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?Look for accommodation - deal well in advance for a college dorm as rents are quite expensive. I found a dorm close to the school, which was about 7 min walk away. The paperwork is crazy, but once you get through it, then it's no problem (except they didn't really want to turn the heat on for us in the winter :))

Can you pay by card?everywhere

What not to forget when packing?Linens, some basic dishes.

🥳Summary

It's also suitable for introverts like me :) there's something for everyone.
