Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I loved the personal "atiende". Every teacher was there for us.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes. There is a first integration week. Every week they prepare cafe for international students. And the student union opens a university pub almost once a week. There are some bigger events through the semester organised by the student union as well(Halloween party, Christmas party etc.).

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I recommend accommodation offered by uni. They sent well structured email.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Travels and extra activities +10-15k.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Plan your meals in advance. Buy food in sales. Dont eat at uni canteen or outside. Don’t drink alcohol that much.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?There is an app. I did not use it in the town. Otherwise in the region is perfect. I rent a bike for almost whole stay for free in a Fritidsbanken (free outdoor library).

What is a must-see in the city?Trollhättan is lovely city but not for sight seeing. For travels I recommend leaving the town to gothenburg or Norway or Stockholm.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Stockholm, Norway.

Share your best experience:Trip to Bergen and Tromso in norway. And a 5day hike in the middle of the Sweden (silverladen, i can recommend). Ofc worm environment around the university.

What not to forget when packing?Warm clothes. I brought also sports equipment (there is free ice rink, you can rent in the library for free, there are winter paths for cross country skiing, in the summer road bike must be really nice, running shoes) a sleeping bag and a air mattress.
