🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?

Can you give an example?Yes, my credits did get converted, as in credits from the foreign university count at MUNI. But they were recognized for the same value.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you? Most teachers spoke little or no English. My personal experience was fine, but I heard from other students that there were big issues in communication and lectures.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? There is an ESN organization which does amazing work. I am truly thankful for the time and effort the ESNers of Patras and Greece in general put into creating experiences for Erasmus students. But from what I understand, the ESN section is not really part of the University itself.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

What is a must-see in the city?Historical landmarks, scenic viewpoints, the north park. Ask local students for tips. Anything you think is worth seeing.

Share your best experience:It's your trip. Go see whatever you want. You can ask local students for tips. You can rent cars or bikes.
Couple of friends and I rented a car for a week during Easter break and went on a road trip around the Peloponnese. It was really nice.
The mountains are really nice too. Miss having a 2km mountain right at edge of a city next to the sea. That was really scenic. Climbed the mountain with a group of friends and slept at the top. There is a national group of hikers that build shelters in the mountains and also offer an overnight stay at some of them for a reasonable price. The mountains are wild though so not something for inexperienced people.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences?Erasmus is an experience of a lifetime. It may seem scary, but it is worth all the trouble. And even if your Erasmus experience is not perfect like in the movies, you will be remembering it for the rest of your life. For me it was an escape. I really needed a change of scenery and it fulfilled that perfectly. Besides that I met a lot of people, had a lot of fun and even made some friends.
