Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?It is standard to enroll in only 3 courses per semester. However, lectures take place twice a week + a seminar once a week.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, we had an orientation week before the semester started. Students can join many student clubs or volunteer in the student bar/café.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?I recommend buying tickets for public transport in Bergen via the Skyss app. I've bought tickets for travel in Norway on the carriers' websites (e.g. www.vy.no).

How do you rate the availability of healthcare?mostly fine

What is a must-see in the city?The seven mountains around Bergen (especially Floyen, Ulriken and Løvstakken), Bryggen, Troldhaugen Edvard Grieg Museum (I recommend the piano concert), Gamle Bergen Museum, Fantoft Stave Church, Det Hanseatiske Museum og Schøtstuene, Bergenhus Fortress, Bergen Aquarium, Gamlehaugen (I recommend it for swimming in the sea), Nordness Sjøbad (outdoor swimming, great atmosphere in winter).

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Trolltunga, Stegastein viewpoint (I recommend combining it with a boat trip on the Sognefjord), Trømso, any trip to the mountains.

Share your best experience:The best experience was the trip to Trolltunga, beautiful nature and amazing views. The trip to the northern town of Trømso before Christmas was also a great experience.
