1,5 kreditov bolo za každý predmet, u nás ako 6 kreditov

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Veľa priebežných úloh, assignmentov, kvízov, ale pomerne jednoduché. Výsledná známka závisí na dochádzke, priebežných kvízoch / assignmentoch, midterm teste, skupinových projektoch a záverečnom teste. Všetko má istú váhu, záverečná skúška bola často len 30% váhy.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Vyššia kvalita, jednoduchší obsah. Látka bola preberaná viac interaktívne, bolo k tomu veľa úloh a readingov na doma, aby človek hlbšie chápal tematiku

Najlepšia vyučujúca - Liana, učila Operations Management.

Knihy som nepožičiavala, ale klasika, study rooms, počítače

internet na celom kampuse, počítače v knižnici

na kampuse je copy shop

všetko zahrnuté, mala som pomerne lacné bývanie oproti niektorým

ja som mala šťastie, že mi všetko poskytli domáci. Na intrák si však ľudia museli kúpiť úplne všetko vrátane perín, nádobí

aspoň 2-3 mesiace.

Na kampuse je nová menza, to je najlacnejšie, ja som si veľa varila

3-4x drahšie
napr. 1 kg rajčat 5 CAD, ale dá sa vybrať a zvyknúť, walmart je najlacnejší

letenky + trajekt z vancouveru

1000 eur spiatočná letenka, trajekt jedna cesta 18 CAD

kupujte dosť dopredu

MHD, 250 CAD stojí na 4 mesiace v rámci študentskej karty (je v tom ešte vstup do starého gymu)

formulár ETA, arrive can v rámci covidu, potvrdenie o očkovaní

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
povinné od školy, okolo 250 CAD

Did you have any experience with medical treatment abroad?:
lekár priamo pre študentov, online objednávanie, ale nevyužila som

What are the conditions for working for MU students?:
study permit alebo work permit, niečo to stojí, ale v kanade sú zase dobré platy na hodinu

Tips for free-time activities:
neskutočne mnoho. Britská Kolumbia je nádherná, príroda všade dookola. Menšie aj väčšie túry, potom krásny kampus kde sa dá tráviť čas, nový gym, krásne pláže, útulné downtown

Približne. Veľa sme cestovali, napr. národný park Banff a Jasper, Tofino, Las vegas, seattle, california.

nie. Učitelia a international department extrémne milí, ako všetci v Kanade

What would you recommend to take with you:
turistické topánky, pretože príroda je nádherná. Niečo nepremokavé, nám zrovna veľa nepršalo ale je to oceánske podnebie takže je to normálne

Priateľský prístup učiteľov, interaktívny spôsob výuky, obrovské množstvo organizovaných akcií

nič

Further comments:
Jedna z najlepších životných skúseností. Je to drahé, ale stojí to absolútne za to. A ak sa tam už človek vyberie, treba veľa cestovať, ísť sa pozrieť na veľryby, chodiť na školské akcie, plávať, ísť na túru, cvičiť. Zvýhodnený vstup do perfektne vybaveného fitka.
