Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Great structured teaching of some subjects, interesting courses, lots of discussion, open-minded teachers.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?There is a large semester beitrag under which you get free public and regional transport - but that was six years ago, with the Deutschland ticket it may be different.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Great luxury dumsterdiving near the biosupermarket near the university. Kuche fur alle in local social centres. I had lunch almost exclusively tablediving in the canteen the whole time I was there.

What is a must-see in the city?Places on the university campus - occupied and self-organized by students, a cozy room with a bar and chairs under the canteen. Similar building "WG3".

Share your best experience:A blockade of the headquarters of a local energy corporation operating two coal-fired power stations in Bremen, organised by the local group "Klimagruppe", which I joined. We sang chants, made demands, made the company's employees cry, and the local TV made a nice report out of it.

Transport means - Other:Hitchhiking from the Czech Republic in half a day, quite a straight highway - around Dresden, Leipzig, Braunsweig and Hannover. The hitchwiki hitchhiking locations match.
