Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I was suprised by the level of english of teachers - really good. Also they implemented a lot of practical courses that I appretiated.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, via ESN club as universities usualy do.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Nothing that i wasnt aware of beforehand.

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?They have a special app for public transport in Kaunas (Ziogas) - you purchase tickets via this app. Also for traveling by train around Lithuania, you can buy tickets on-line without problems. Every bigger city has their own app for public transport. It is easy to download and use them.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?yes

How do you rate the availability of healthcare?mostly fine

What is a must-see in the city?The whole historical center, also try to visit as much fortress as possible (there´s 11 around the city). Lots of beautiful parks a forests and murals you must see.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Kernave, Vilnius, Kalipéda, national parks all around the country etc. Usually what TripAdvisor suggest you.

Share your best experience:I was in Kaunas during the toughest COVID, so we couldn´t do much. But we formed this group of Erasmus students in dorms and we cooked international dinners for ourselves, went on trips together or just played Among us :).
Also I joined a hiking club at the uni and we went for a weekend hiking trip together, slept under the stars, cooked together.
