Žiadnu registráciu nebolo treba.
Stážovala som na chirurgii a bol mi pridelený doktor, avšak nebol problém vidieť aj iné oddelenia keď som mala záujem.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Stážovala som na oddelení chirurgie. Každý deň sa spravili vizity a potom sa písali ordinácie, správy a odoberali sme vzorky do laboratória. Bolo možné absolvovať aj nočné služby alebo tzv. on call služby v poobedňajších hodinách.
Mávali sme aj teachingy a taktiež mohli absolvovať školenia pre starších doktorov. Absolvovali sme simulácie, pri ktorých sme boli predstavení situácii a museli sa zachovať ako vyštudovaní doktori.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Bezpochyby som získlala viac praktických znalostí.

How did you receive study materials?:
Keď bolo nutné, všetci boli ochotní vytisknúť, čo sme potrebovali.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Teachingy pre F1 a F2 doktorov

How well is the school library equipped?:
Nemocničná knihovna bola veľmi príjemným miestom s množstvom dobrých a užitočných publikácií.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
V knižnici bolo niekoľko počítačov s internetom, ku ktorým ste potrebovali log in a heslo. V nemocnici, žiaľ, žiadne wifi nemali.

Options from printing and copying:
V knižnici bolo možné vytisknúť si materiály zdarma.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:

Where did you live?:
Bývali sme v byte, ktorý nám poskytla priamo nemocnica.

Cost of accommodation - monthly:
260 EUR

Additional comments to the price of accommodation (as to what the price includes):
V byte sme bývali 2, každá mala samostatnú izbu. Bol pekne zariadený - Kuchyňa, práčka a veľká obývačka.

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Najslabšie bola vybavená kuchyňa, ale myslím, že všetko sa dá kúpiť na mieste.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Ubytovanie bolo poskytnuté nemocnicou.

What are the catering options?:
V nemocnici bola jedáleň, v blízkosti ubytovania veľký supermarket.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Dajú sa porovnať s cenami v ČR (čo sa týka supermarketov).

Transport to location of placement:
Letela som do Liverpoolu z Prahy a z letiska ide priamo spoj až do mestečka, v ktorom je nemocnica.

Rough prices for transportation:
spiatočný let cca 150 eur

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Je možné zakúpiť si railcard do 26 rokov, s ktorou potom máte 30 percent zĽavu na lístky-vlaky, autobusy. Odporúčam!

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
Bývali sme hneď pri vlkaovej stanici (mesto Precot), cesta do Liverpoolu trvala 30 minút. Cesta do nemocnice trvala 15 minút pešo. Tam som MHD nevyužívala.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Podpísať nájomnú zmluvu a prevziať si nemocničnú identifikačnú kartu.

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
Mali sme poistenie poskytnuté školou.
ja som mala ešte poistenie vlastné, ktoré som si ale vybavovala na rok ešte v lete.

Tips for free-time activities:
V okolí je množstvo vecí, ktoré sa oplatí vidieť-Cowny castle, Crosby beach, mesto Chester a celý Liverpool.

prístup k pacientom, rešpektovanie súkromia pacientov, možnosť obrátiť sa na skúsenejšieho kolegu

What most surprised you at the partner university in a negative way:
Niekedy bola organizácia trošku zmatená-prišli sme na miesto teachingu a dozvedeli sme sa, že nie je. Avšak nestalo sa nič, čo by sa nedalo zvládnuť.
