Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?The university offered links with local "landlords" who offered student accommodation, often in family houses for about 8 students.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?In Denmark, there is an app called "Too Good To Go" that helps food rescue. Traditional supermarkets (Lidl, Coop, etc.) are also involved, where you get pastries, meat, fruit, vegetables... The food has a shorter shelf life, but in turn you save money and taste local food.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?I have experience only with trains for which you can buy a ticket via a mobile app. However, the transport in Odense is especially adapted for bicycles, which are ridden by everyone, everywhere and all the time, whether it's sunny, raining or snowing! Moreover, renting a bike is quick and easy.

What is a must-see in the city?Downtown. It has an incredibly friendly atmosphere and there are always cultural events going on. There are also locations dedicated to Hans Ch. Andersen, who was born here.

What not to forget when packing?Rain boots, raincoat and waterproof trousers. It's quite common for students to change from waterproofs to regular clothes on rainy days at school.
