Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Teaching was more interactive and discussion-based compared to teaching at MUNI.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, we had an orientation week where they explained everything in detail, all the time I had the opportunity to visit the international office where they were always very helpful.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?I was surprised that they wanted a deposit for the dorms and some service fee quite early, about 4 months before arrival.

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?RVV app or google maps, ticket either in vending machines or in the app, but as a student in Regensburg you have free public transport.

What is a must-see in the city?Historic centre and bridge, definitely a trip to Wallhala.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Travel to other cities in Bavaria - Munich, Augsburg, Nuremberg...
